2013 Thanksgiving

Last year's Thanksgiving was my 1st real time experience in the U.S. This year's Thanksgiving Brandon and I both felt thankful for many things we were blessed to achieve, like having our own house and getting me a driver's license. Some people say Thanksgiving is like Chinese New Year. In a way, it is true. There are lots of good food to eat and also you get together with the family. Brandon has a small family so Thanksgiving is a bit more intimate to celebrate only with his parents, sister, brother-in-law and our two nieces. Some people say we are lucky, because having a big party can be a headache!

I never lived very close to my own grandmothers until now. Who would know when we got our 1st American home Brandon and I would live so close to his grandmother? Would you say that this is a fortune?

1st Baby Boy in Our Family!

People say women glow when they are in love, so what about when they are expecting? I have been amazed by my sister who is gonna be a mama. She looks gorgeous these days!

Brandon and I try to be supportive to our family whenever they need us. Our 12-year-old niece has got some musical genes from her Uncle Brandon and began to play flute a while ago.

Goodbye Grandma

My Grandma Tsang was a fighter all her life. Although her stories were scarred with unfortunate parts, she lived to 92 years old and left us memories of her sweet smiles and her harmonious personality. This picture is my favorite of her and us. It was taken on her 90th birthday.

Dear Grandma

My Grandma Tsang is 92 years old. She has not been in her best health for quite some time and we are afraid to lose her at any moment.

The Hike

Thanks to Brandon we discovered a new trail last summer to walk up to the peak of the Peak for a stunning nature view :)

I Love You Mom!

I had a great trip in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Malaysia with my Mom and sisters :) It was a totally girl trip for us - no daddy and no hubby ;)
