First Post Back in HK

It has really been a long long time! After all that, we are back staying in HK! And this time we have decided we will call this our permanent home.

The good news is we are still keeping our US home, we call it our vacation home/ summer home, because most likely we will return in summer time to play and no more staying in hotels but our home that we still love!

Some people will ask if I regret my time in the US, I must admit I had doubted if I should have made that choice, but I wouldn't have known for sure where would be the right fit for us if we never had tried both sides. We finally have figured it out. HK is where we stay, US is our getaway. Although we didn't end up settling in the US, all those memories have helped me become a better me. I learnt a lot of things that I wouldn't have had chances to if I never lived there. For that I am very thankful.

Some people say HK is chasing people away and we are just doing opposite to come back. I think it is easy to say until you have left. We enjoy something about the US but there is also some uncertainty. Now we feel blessed to know where we belong. So no more holding back of the future. No more "what if".  It's a relieving feeling!

What's crazier during all these adventures is we have finally become mama and daddy! We are now proud parents of our 6-month-old sweet potato! It's our nickname for her because she had reddish tan skin when she was a newborn, like a sweet potato! Now she is our little pink doll :)

We are happier, for once we feel we are no more stuck and are looking forward to seeing our little girl grow! :)

♡ My week 40 bump was huge! Can you believe sweet potato was born on her due date exactly?
♡ Hubby loved to feel baby's kicks. She kicked a lot!
♡ First day back home from hospital. Our parenting life began there :)

Baby's 1st week. So glad Daddy had a week of paternity leave to help mama out!
♡ Celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary with baby. We were satisfied to have enjoyed our two people time for so many years before baby's arrival. From now on we will enjoy our three people time!
