Happy Spring Forward Weekend!

On Saturday we turned all our clocks to one hour forward. This is what they call "Spring Forward". It means that the long cold winter is ending and the daylight is staying longer and by doing spring forward we can enjoy extra daylight. Yesterday we already noticed that the sky was still light at 6:30 p.m. I was especially excited because I am now 1 hour closer to Hong Kong again!

Because of the time change, we lost one hour in the evening but we made it up on Sunday by sleeping in!  I looked forward to that morning a lot because Brandon had volunteered to make breakfast! He said it is a treat for our 43 wedding monthiversay :)

Whenever Brandon cooks breakfast, it will be BIG!

We got the blueberry pancake mix from Mom and Dad for Christmas.

We realized it wasn't that easy to cut the sausage roll. Brandon reshaped it and made two hearts :)

Brandon has got better and better at making pancakes while I am getting better and better at capturing his flips!

Sometimes I wanted to help, but Brandon said, "Don't do anything! I want you to relax! R~e~l~a~x!" Okay Okay!

Interestingly these pancakes wouldn't turn brown like the others we had before. They still looked good though!

Cooking the sausage

Getting hungry!

Although I wasn't supposed to help, I gave my suggestion on putting cinnamon powder on these cinnamon bread before having them toasted.

NICE!

Other than his cooking effort, I appreciate his neat plating :)

We were supposed to share the "hearts" but while we were eating, he suddenly put his on my plate and said, "I gave you my heart!" Aww! Haha!

I was still in my PJ's with bed hair and zero make-up. I must have been too excited!

Later that day Brandon let me choose a movie to watch. I chose the Lake House movie. It was out in 2006 when we first saw it and we still love it. The couple in it had such strong and unexplainable connection between them which reminded me of us.

Happy 43 Wedding Monthiversary to us!! My first spring forward and sweet time with Brandon, I will always remember this one!
